The Tesla Invader 2/3 is the latest product from Teslacigs Invader series. This new device has an improved performance and has been entirely upgraded. You can see that the best improvement for this product is on its battery scheme. The batteries can be switched between a dual battery back and a triple battery back.
Design and Quality
You are able to use two or three batteries for this device which is a really awesome improvement. This device has a maximum power output of 240W when you use two batteries and 360W if three batteries are being used. The back of the battery has a trapezoidal shape when there are three batteries used. The device looks thinner and there is no hump on its back when you only use two batteries. The device is held up by a friction and that means there are no magnets in the mod.
It is easy to remove the batteries from the device. When you are using the triple battery back, all you need to do is place your finger on top of the battery back and just push it down while holding the mod. This will make the battery back loose and it will easily slide off. You do not have to worry if you accidentally slide off the back because it has been firmly attached to the mod. It is more challenging though when you use two batteries because it’s much thinner. So you really need an extra push if you want to remove the batteries. There is no USB port on the device so you need to use an extra charger when the battery is drained.
This box mod has been designed with a variable voltage mod. Once you look closely on the Tesla Invader 2/3, you will notice that there is no support for temperature coils. There is also no way to view the details of the device’s status since it does not come with a digital screen. You also will see that there are no buttons to adjust the voltage of the box mod.
The device uses a potentiometer when you need to set its voltage. The potentiometer is located at the bottom front of the box mod. The Tesla Invader 2/3 is detonated with 3 to 8 volts and it has ¼ markings on the dial in between each number. Once you get to check more closely on the potentiometer, you will see that there are no detents and this means that you are not able to clearly identify the settings. However, the potentiometer is easy to use. All you have to do is use your fingertips to operate it. The voltage will not change inadvertently because the device’s voltage settings have enough resistance. The wattage is set based on the coils used for the mod.
There is a LED light that is located at the bottom of the device’s body. This is an awesome feature because it lets you know the usage of the product better. A fire button is on the upper part of the front side on the device. This location is really convenient for all users.
The box mod has two different sizes depending on how many batteries you use. If you use three batteries, the device is 50mm by 42mm by 85mm in size. When using two batteries the device’s size is 35mm by 42mm by 85mm. The Tesla Invader 2/3 is powered by 18650 battery. There are also two power outputs when using the device. If you are using the device with three batteries, the maximum power output is 360W and if you use two batteries its maximum power output is 240W. There are different protection features that come with the Tesla Invader 2/3. You are sure that using this mod is safe since it has an over puffing and reverse connection protection. It also has an atomizer short circuit protection, low voltage alert, overheating and over-current protection.
